That’s why we’re so proud to announce that Mooeys, alongside our Godalming franchise owner Gigi, has become an official sponsor of Churt Girls Football Club.

This partnership means so much to us – because it’s not just about football. It’s about community, inclusivity, and giving every girl the chance to shine.

Why Churt Girls FC?

Founded in 2017, Churt Girls FC has quickly grown into something incredible. In fact, women’s football has seen a massive surge in popularity over the past few years – and the club is right at the heart of it.

For the 2024/25 season alone, 100 new players registered, taking their total to over 320 girls and women playing football across all age groups. From the under 7s all the way through to the women’s team, Churt Girls FC offers something for everyone.

Their squads compete in both the Surrey County Women and Girls League and the North East Hampshire Youth League, representing the local area with pride, passion, and teamwork.

But what makes the club extra special is that it’s a 100% non-profit organisation run solely by volunteers. Parents, coaches, and supporters step up to take on roles like team managers, coaching assistants, welfare officers, treasurers, and more – all united by one goal: making football accessible, inclusive, and fun for girls of all ages and experience levels.

The Importance of Sponsorship

We received a wonderful message from the club’s Treasurer that really captures why sponsorship matters so much:

“With the high costs associated with football, your generous sponsorship will not only supply the squad with new kit for next season but also enable us as a club to continue to offer very low subscriptions to help make playing football at Churt Girls FC as inclusive as possible.”

And this is exactly why we wanted to get involved. Because football should be for everyone – not just those who can afford it. By helping provide new kits and supporting the club, we’re doing our bit to ensure costs stay manageable, so more girls can take part and feel part of something amazing.

When Gigi (our fabulous Godalming franchise owner) and I heard about the opportunity to sponsor Churt Girls FC, we knew it was the perfect fit. Both Mooeys and the football club share the same values – inclusivity, empowerment, teamwork, and positivity.
