If you’d have told me a few years ago that Mooeys would be setting up at CarFest, surrounded by music, glitter and thousands of families, I’m not sure I’d have believed you. But here we are – heading to CarFest 2025 this August, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder.

And while yes, this is a brilliant opportunity to get Mooeys in front of a big crowd, it’s not about chasing exposure. It’s about something much deeper – connection, community and celebrating how far we’ve come, together.

This whole journey started with Katie.

Katie first walked into Mooeys over eight years ago as a client, and from day one, she just got it. She loved the vibe, the service, the values – and she stuck with us. Over time, we got to know her really well. We watched her fall in love with the brand and quietly dream about being a part of it in a bigger way.

Last year, she made that dream a reality and opened Mooeys Winchester. And not long after launching her salon, she came to us with the idea of bringing Mooeys to CarFest. She’s been to every single CarFest since it began, and it’s always been a big part of her family life. She saw the same spirit in Mooeys! Fun, feel-good, family-focused, and full of heart. ❤️

And she was right. The fit is perfect.

CarFest is about so much more than cars. It’s music, food, laughter, wellness, connection – all wrapped up in a festival with a massive charitable heart. In 2024, CarFest raised over £1.26 million for children’s charities, with 100% of profits and 10% of ticket sales going to amazing causes. That kind of impact? That’s something we want to be part of.

It also just so happens that six of our Mooeys salons sit within a 40-mile radius of the CarFest site, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to show off what we do, meet new people, and connect with those who might live just down the road but haven’t discovered us yet.

But here’s what makes this so special. We’re not just showing up as a brand. We’re showing up as a proper Mooeys family.

Katie’s kids will be there, helping out with the little ones. My kids are absolutely buzzing to run our Spin to Win game, a fun way to raise a bit more money for charity while keeping the festival spirit going. Our husbands are chipping in behind the scenes. Donna from our Farnham branch is coming and even her daughter is joining the team to add some glitter magic, and we’ve got Moos from every salon coming along to paint nails, chat to festival-goers, and represent what Mooeys is really about.

We’re offering Mini Me Manicures, nail art stamping, glitter application, and sharing our natural, refillable Mooeys product range – perfect for calming sun-kissed skin and bringing a bit of TLC to tired hands after a long day in the sunshine. If the weather plays nice (and we really hope it does), we’ll be there to help people look after their skin as well as their nails.

And yes, while we’re there to show off our beautiful treatments and products, we’re also there to simply connect. To meet future clients, to have honest chats about franchising with anyone who’s ever dreamed of running their own salon, and to share the Mooeys love with people who’ve never heard of us before.

We say it all the time, but Mooeys is more than a salon. It’s a comMOOnity. A team. A herd. And seeing so many of our team and their families come together to be part of something like this… it’s honestly a bit emotional.

It feels like a full circle moment – not just for Katie, but for Mooeys as a whole.

So yes, we’ll be setting up at CarFest this August, doing what we do best – making people feel amazing, surrounded by our incredible team, our families, and a whole lot of love. We’re not just going to a festival. We’re stepping into a celebration of everything Mooeys stands for.

And I couldn’t be more excited.
