Lashes and brows, done properly.
Lash lifts, lash tints, brow tints, and brow lamination. Subtle work that makes a real difference.
Subtle work, real difference.
Every lash and brow treatment at Mooeys is about enhancement. We lift and define the lashes and brows you already have, with the aim of bringing out the very best version of you.
The compliment we love most is the one where someone tells you “you look really well.” Like you’ve slept eight hours and drunk plenty of water. That’s the brief.
The treatments
Lash Lift
Lash Lift
A semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes upward, opening up the eye and creating the look of longer, more visible lashes. Your own lashes, looking their best.
- Best for: Anyone with naturally straight or downward-pointing lashes, or anyone wanting to skip mascara for a few weeks.
- Often combined with: A lash tint, to add depth at the same time.
- Lasts: Around 6 to 8 weeks (the duration of your natural lash cycle).
- Patch test required: 48 hours before your first appointment, and any time you take a year-plus break between treatments.
Lash Tint
Lash Tint
A tint that darkens your natural lashes so they really show up without mascara. Great for holidays, swimming, hot weather, or anyone who fancies a low-maintenance morning routine.
- Best for: People with fair lashes, anyone wanting to ditch mascara for a few weeks.
- Often combined with: A lash lift, which is when both treatments really sing.
- Lasts: Around 4 to 6 weeks.
- Patch test required: 48 hours before your first appointment.
Brow Tint
Brow Tint
A tint that adds depth and definition to your natural brow hair. Particularly nice for people with fair or sparse brows, or anyone who’s used to filling brows in with pencil or powder every day and would rather just wake up looking sorted.
- Best for: Fair, sparse, or low-contrast brows. Anyone tired of daily brow makeup.
- Often combined with: A brow shape (wax or thread) and/or a brow lamination.
- Lasts: Around 2 to 4 weeks (brow hair turnover is faster than lash hair).
- Patch test required: 48 hours before your first appointment.
Brow Lamination
Brow Lamination
Smooths and sets your brow hairs in an upward direction for a fuller, lifted look. We aim for fluffy and natural: healthy brows with a beautiful shape that suits your face.
- Best for: Unruly brows, brows with hair that grows in different directions, or anyone wanting a lovely fluffy natural-looking finish.
- Often combined with: A brow tint (the two together is the most popular brow combo we do).
- Lasts: Around 4 to 8 weeks.
- Patch test required: 48 hours before your first appointment, and any time it’s been a year-plus since your last one.
Looking for brow shaping?
Brow shaping (waxing or threading) lives with the rest of our waxing and threading services. Both options give a clean shape; threading is slightly gentler and great for sensitive skin. You can book brow shaping on its own or combine it with a tint or lamination in the same appointment.
What makes our lashes and brows different.
Tailored to you
No two clients have the same lashes or brows, so we don’t treat them the same. Before any tint, lift, or lamination, your Moo will look at your hair condition, your face shape, the tone you actually want, and what’s going to suit you day to day.
The strength of the lamination solution, how long it sits on the hair, the tint shade, the lift level: all of it calibrated to you and the result you’re after. That’s the bit that makes a really good treatment.
Patch testing, taken seriously
Every lash or brow tint, and every brow lamination, needs a patch test 48 hours before your first appointment. We won’t do the treatment without one.
The reason is straightforward: reactions to tint and lamination chemicals can develop slowly, and the consequences (swelling, blistering, sometimes worse) can be really serious. A 5-minute patch test isn’t a hassle; it’s how we make sure you’re safe.
If it’s been a year or more since your last tint or lamination, we’ll ask you to patch test again. Sensitivities can develop over time, even with products you’ve had before.

The questions we get asked.
A lash lift uses a gentle setting solution to curl your own natural lashes upward. It's your own lashes, lifted and made more visible. Extensions are different: individual or grouped synthetic lashes are glued onto your natural ones, building length and density that wasn't there before.Â
Both are lovely treatments in their own right. Lifts give a natural-looking result and are lower maintenance; extensions give more dramatic length and density and need more upkeep. Different aesthetics, different commitments. We do lifts (and tints, often combined with a lift) and we're glad to talk you through whether a lift would suit what you're after.Â
We focus on lash lifts and tints. They're what we love doing, what we've trained extensively in, and what we can deliver brilliantly across every salon. Extensions are a different aesthetic and a different maintenance commitment (regular infills, particular aftercare), and they're a specialism in their own right. We'd rather do a smaller range of treatments really well than spread ourselves thinly.Â
If extensions are what you're after, you'll find brilliant lash specialists elsewhere. If lift and tint is your thing, we're here for you.Â
Around 6 to 8 weeks. That's how long your natural lash cycle takes, so you can rebook whenever you feel the lift dropping out. There's no infill or top-up; when it's time, you have a fresh lift on whatever your current lashes are.Â
Yes, always. We require a patch test 48 hours before your first lash tint, brow tint, or brow lamination. If it's been a year or more since your last treatment, we'll ask you to patch test again. The reason is straightforward: reactions to these products can develop slowly and the consequences can be really serious. We'd rather a 5-minute patch test than a problem you didn't see coming.Â
Lash tinting darkens your natural lashes using a semi-permanent dye, usually black or a softer dark brown for fair colouring. It absolutely works on grey, blonde, or light red lashes (it’s often the people who’d benefit most from it, since light lashes are the ones most likely to disappear without mascara).
Brow lamination uses a setting solution to smooth and lift the natural brow hairs into an upward direction for a fuller, more defined look. When the right strength of solution is used and the timing is correct, it's safe and your brow hair recovers fully between treatments. The risks come from products that are too strong for the individual's hair, or treatments left on too long, which is why we calibrate both to each client.Â
Our Moos are trained to read the condition of each client's brow hair before deciding on solution strength and timing. We'd also rather suggest a break between treatments if your brows look like they need one. Healthy brows are the whole point.Â
Every 6 to 8 weeks is a good rhythm for most people. More frequent than that can stress the hair; less frequent is fine if you’re happy with how the effect drops out. Your Moo will be honest with you if your brows need a break between treatments.
A semi-permanent dye applied to the natural brow hair to add depth and definition. It's especially good for fair brows or anyone who fills them in with makeup every day. Lasts around 2 to 4 weeks (faster than lash tints, because brow hair turnover is quicker).Â
Yes, but ideally not for the first 24 hours after the treatment, while the lift is still setting. After that, mascara is fine. Most clients find they don't need it because the lift opens up the eye on its own, but if you want a bit of extra colour, go for it. A water-based or non-waterproof mascara is gentler on lifted lashes than waterproof formulas.Â
Yes, we'll usually do the shape in the same appointment as the lamination. If you want to add a shape later, that's fine too; just wait at least 24 hours after the lamination so the brow hair has fully settled.Â
For the first 24 hours: keep the area dry, avoid steam, no swimming, no hot showers directly on the face, no makeup remover on the treated area. After that, you're back to normal. We'll talk you through aftercare in salon, but it's genuinely lovely and low-maintenance.Â
Tinting and lamination during pregnancy is a slightly grey area. The chemicals used are gentle and there's no strong evidence of harm, but as a precaution, most professional bodies (and us) suggest avoiding tints and lamination in the first trimester, and continuing with patch tests thereafter. Lash lifts use different chemistry and are generally considered safe throughout pregnancy with a patch test. If you're pregnant, let your Moo know when you book and they'll guide you through what's suitable.Â
